Well I actually closed on my house dec of 2022, but I bought a pretty old house and did a FULL interior renovation (out side still needs work) and have been here since June and we love it!

@Matthew Paul most towns, when doing a CO inspection, check the permit history before they come out to see if the town card (beds, baths) matches the actual house configuration.

BTW leases are in some cases actually considered real estate and the lease itself is taxes as real estate.
