My title company is stating the property I’m acquiring “is not curative clear”.

As mentioned, if you are making good money on acquire/reno, just keep doing a few more to build more personal equity.

You can remedy the condition (department of housing will explain how), then have the property inspected, and the notice will be lifted.The leases may state that rent is abated until the condition is removed.

I live in Long Island, NY, there is no way I would ever buy any properties for investment here given the cost to acquire and the property taxes.
