I am looking at doing rehabs on small historic homes in my area and found a realtor that not only owns several herself, but is a contractor that rehabs historic homes and already has a team of folks that can help with several aspects of the process, putting together the application, etc.

We are getting mixed responses saying we have to remove and replace all the trusses and roof at approx $60,000 to cutting into existing trusses but only gaining height in a 12 x 18 ft area.

Condition: Roof leaks in a couple of places, floor around the commode in the master bath is week and sinking, Central HVAC system does not work, mold infestation as a result of the recent SC flood, and the house is full of junk as the seller was a hoarder.

@John Fleming I don't know any realtors/brokers in NOLA, but I do have connections with several of the professional short-term rental managers down there if you're looking for someone to handle the airbnb/turn-key aspect of it.
