In Metro Detroit area, police will not remove these types of occupants (they are afraid of scamming landlord having police remove legal tenants), calling them a "civil matter" forcing landlord to start court eviction process.

@Roopesh KrishnamoorthyFinding cash flowing SFR is going to be a challenge (especially since you are looking for a primary at this point) and if you leave (H1B lottery) then do you plan to continue to fund any shortfall from India?

From my experience (being on the DNC list and getting dozens of telemarketing calls a week) the main strategy is to ignore it and call everyone anyway. 

For me, I had no goals but found that two of the deals that I did, the seller looked me up on FB and said that they felt good about me pretty much because they got to know me through videos / posts that I made and I suppose that it built trust with them. 

never heard of them looking at their website they show the owners etc.

Texas State has some of their own as well. 

I would definitely take care of the cracked/chipping ceilings.
