I have gotten screwed owning property in Dallas because of it.but when you look at these tiles they are flat to the roof I bet they will be pretty darn tough to break.Although on all my new turn keys that I am doing I am putting on Metal roofs for the hail protection and the energy savings my turn key clients will have for their tenants.

I think your best bet is to use Bora-Care on it and the studs, make sure it is fully dry and then paint it and the studs with an oil based mold inhibiting paint for good measure.
