I believe as long as it’s your primary address you are good.

Add in all the advantages of local investing: market knowledge, no need for PM, easier to deal with issues, less need for trusted team as you have greater oversight, able to house hack including the finance advantages.  

There is a lot of big money builders at play so it’s hard to address that topic briefly.

Unless you trust these contractors very much, I would be worried about doing something like this.

I know that there's some discussion of this topic on BiggerPockets, but one specific issue I don't see being addressed as much as I would like is the repair cost issue when you're wholesaling virtually and therefore can't actually walk the house.I know the general answer is "get boots on the ground," but that, I think, still leaves a lot of questions.

@Wayne Brooks I hadn’t thought to search that way—I’ve just been using the actual address not the property ID number.  

In fact the other lots already even have separate addresses legally, and have their own frontage. 

You could try to obscure what you are doing with a trust, but probably not really worth the time, effort, and money and easy to screw up.
