Those areas are a bit too industrial for me, but not for a working couple starting out who rely on public transportation to get to work and around town.

So those who are killing it in any industry are just those who have made more mistakes and fixed them before others around them.Sorry to wax poetic on you :) Hope this helped.

Hello BP Nation =)I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong place.I have several friends in the Real Estate industry (in various aspects), and one of them owns properties in Los Angeles proper.

lol.....this past summer i Ended up getting a internship at a HUD REO asset management company which i really enjoyed because i got to learn the basics of the RE industry. well i guess they liked me enough too because i got hired on full time!

And if I do have to have a business plan writen would it be like a retail business plan were you have to have industry stats and market nich as well as targeted market?

Being able to openly discuss companies out there that are doing the real estate industry a injustice is invaluable.Thank you!!!

These are some industry "standards" you can go by if you choose to get involved.

Even the private money lending industry has been affected by the CFPB.

When I think of the word "scam", the get rich quick mentality comes to mind, and it's always those that fail people in this industry, leading to the common complaint of said failures being the results of a "scam".

Sadly...this is very common in the industry especially with short sales.
