A buddy of mine on the East Coast was looking for part-time work, so I hired him to look up property owners and call them.

If they do .. just show up and argue your case.In Oregon I got tired of this and we have eviction services.. its all they do.. and instead of hiring a lawyer by the hour.. they charge a flat fee used to be 600 or 650 bucks.. you give them a copy of the lease and they get the people out.. 

Did you hire an engineer/professional to look at this and give you recommendations or did you go straight to a foundation company?

Additionally, please- I reiterate- a function of an A/C is that it dehumidifies the air but it is not a dehumidifier.

It can do way more than a person with all the bells and whistles and you can’t hire someone for $300 a Month to offset what a great software can do vs an average one.  

I suspect they will do it then.. and if they wont hire an attorney to do it. its not that complicated.. for that matter just send me a copy of the last recorded deed I can do it..

However I am adding central air and second floor laundry.

As a plucked from air number $30K in repairs seem reasonable,  subject to inspection. 

It is all integrated with my thermostats, security system and air conditioning.
