Please share some numbers (or projected numbers for the apartment).

Now they have to amend those original plans and possibly have the project delayed or shut down since it will affect your property.

I flip a lot of houses and have tackled some really bad foundations issues.

Just from renting rooms in your basement,   why is it so hard to find someone to fund the project, with those income numbers....

I also own (and rent out) a second property that has little equity but is in an area projected to appreciate by about 10% in the next year.

I was thinking this was a 2 year loan for a flip project .. but yes controlled draws for work being done on the project are a good thing

Capital, time, project management, find the deal, etc.

The credit card balance might be something he would want to tackle as the interest rate is 19% but again, if he pursues a property it's something he will have to consider as an opportunity cost.
