There would only be about 3 active players with the rest being "passive".

Other things we’re also trying to do is personally contacting owners, always trying to find off-market deals through personal connections with brokers, we are going into markets that are secondary or tertiary and more in the midwest where there’s a little less competition.We were blessed to get one of those under contract last Monday and we are excited to move on implement the things I had talked about above.

It's overwhelming trying to decide since there are so many ways to invest in real estate, but at the same time, so exciting because there is always more to learn!

FYI, there's a small player with similar but different concept, with AirBnb type model, called CloudCastles.io.

Till this time I used to listen to bigger pockets podcast and watch YouTube videos.I am really excited and looking forward to buying my first home/ multi-family (2-4 units) in WA preferably in Snohomish County and Pierce County.We are really willing to move fast and buy property in 3-4 months timeframe if we come across something that is really good.

I’m super excited to get started and for reference, I’m debating between using the BRRR method or fix and flip strategy to start my real estate investing.   

One is a Short-Term-Rental, the other we rent long term and live in one of the units.We’re excited to add more small multi-families to our portfolio in the near future.Best of luck with your expansion : )
