I tell them I want to confirm that there not lying about pets, smoking and that they haven't damaged their current property.  

If the complex allows smoking I doubt there's anything that can be done.

@Ryan Rodriguez I don't think hands on experience is critical, but it helps to have it when people try to blow smoke up your arse (which, not surprisingly happens a lot in construction world).  

Although dark treads with lighter colored risers is a better look in my opinion. 

Not sure how long the batteries last but we usually change yearly when we change batteries in smoke detectors as habit.

@Ross Denman  lastly the PRO oceanpointe / Morris camp has gone completely dark since all these revelations..

Also, make sure your block committee or board is aware...because you may get complaints about the tenants who end up hanging around and smoking a lot.All the best!

We avoid tiling any niches, as those collect grime, and we always use dark grout and small grout lines to minimize staining.- We remove as many things with moving parts as possible (i.e. no ceiling fans, we don’t provide washer/dryer, provide dishwasher only when necessary for neighborhood, etc.).

Credit score of 600, 3 times income to rents, zero evictions ever (ever is ever, it is not 5 years, 10 years, etc), zero felony convictions, no pets, no smoking.
