Hello @Cassidy Burns. 2017 was a year that I decided I'm not setting my goals high enough!

Landlording from out of state is difficult and many get very burned out and want to sell.

Now they look like granite instead of of the burned and scarred 60s lime green that they were.   

Yes, you could increase the rents over time but I've seen too many people get burned buying on what cash flow could be and not what it is currently.

If you play around in the market long enough you WILL get burned at one point or another. 

I think your sort of nomadic lifestyle would be doubly suited to a younger tech worker who can work remotely and has money to burn, and still enjoys going out and meeting a whole new set of new people....  

Eventually, once the market takes a dip, people who build too late will be burned.

A scenario that might work would be a home that's burned down. 123 Main St burnt down, and you're "renovating" it by taking a random $1 house and plopping it down on the existing foundation.
