You usually have time to do that, the only change is that if you are not employed by the employer the plan is at, the expenses will be slightly higher because the employer won't pay any (they pay some employee expenses normally, but not all of them).

There could be other strategies that could be employed to keep a foreclosure out of the picture, but you won't know, until you can answer those questions.
