I do enjoy helping some of you, but in no way would enjoy making a business of helping masses of people.

Takes time to figure out what you enjoy and what you don't.

I now wish I would of just pulled the trigger years ago - because I truly enjoy helping others buy and sell real estate. 

Biggest things are:Ensuring the place is actually clean before the guest arrivesMaking sure all consumables are stocked up: TP, paper towels, soaps, shampoosMaking sure all remotes are in the right place and not lost.Basic cooking needs is a big one people have asked about in previous airbnbs I have managed, i.e mixing bowls, measuring cups etc.Other wise there are some things that arent "needed" but can sure go a long way, such as leaving a $5-6 bottle of wine or some candy for your guests to enjoy, or things such as gift cards to some local place nearby.

This is the extra money you have in your pocket at the end of the month to either enjoy with your family or spend on unexpected expenses.  

Note that investing passively will give you the opportunity to enjoy cashflow and appreciation long after you don't want to work anymore at whatever age that is.

Will you make more $$ long term and meanwhile enjoy living in Cedarburg, also yes.
