My current theory is that it is because the property sits right on the edge of an interstate.

Go down the road, get on the interstate, turn off to get into town, go six blocks and turn left, you'll see the store.

Its an long & a bit of an odd off ramp off the interstate there and technically the land is between the Interstate and the off ramp.   

that is standard in the industry for those that know the risk involved and know how deals are put together these days.to make a second position loan and think 12 ot 15% interst is some great return.. well I can tell you it is not...

Coincidentally, I pointed out that Antioch is one of the best places to invest in the entire #Nashville market because of the massive new development going on at the interstate exit. 

Now the freeways or I should say Interstates you'll never sit in traffic.
