There's no greater or worse feeling Every time you see dust or REALLY ANYTHING of a small spec or a piece of your own hair tickle you And has you literally fully loaded with a flash light with new batteries(god forbid you run out of batteries). 

So I checked with the historical zoning district, and they assured me that purchasing a property in the historic district does not trigger any sort of mandatory-reconditioning to ensure the property comes into compliance with historic building codes.

It is Tenant’s responsibility to test smoke and carbon monoxide detectors weekly and replace batteries when required.

When I was sourcing reconditioned units from a service provider I was talking to a technician and basically they pointed out that for 3 units you really won't be making any money.

I had used evernote a couple years ago and it would put a drain on my cell phone battery.

They tend to pull out the batteries from smoke detectors for their personal devices.

Instead you rent below market with the nicest units to land the best tenants moving to the area and also away from other complexes.You want low turnover because you can have thousands in lost rent in reconditioning a bunch of times to get rent ready again.

You could be sitting there telling yourself, “Heck I'll just install CO detectors” but what happens when the tenant removes the battery and do you really want to trust a cheap gadget with wide operating tolerances that may or may not alert someone in time?
