I'm wondering if anybody that owns property in the Avondale area of Jacksonville has put their rentals on Airbnb or used them as a short term rental for traveling nurses/military/etc, and what has your occupancy been?

Percent Sold and Percent Expired are still traveling in opposite directions, causing the Gap between the two to hit record high levels. 

I'm new to RE, have a 50 hour/week job where I travel, so being an active landlord isn't something I think I can do--for now.Are there others here who, from the start, used property managers and simply use RE as a true investment (i.e. you've always just written checks and don't swing hammers)?

Rich @ Rich thanks i have been doing a lot of due diligence oh the MH are 1990 -2007 and also i am trying to Save on the Management I was going to move in the big house and we will put our house now up for rent,And it will be 7 miles closer for my wife to travel to work and the house is almost three times our s and the park resort has a lot of cleared land to add more homes as well i will try to send you the proformas that i have and over head shot gis pics via email

Numbers work well for building a duplex on a site within 10 minute walk of a medical/dental school and 5 minute walk to two other private colleges.

@Kate Stephens I travel the country for work (in California as I type this) and I can confidently say Cleveland is a great place with a great market!
