Hi @Kendra Gaines when you buy property, specially that needs lots of work , Does buyer/investor generally takes loans?

I have a situation where I would like to open a self directed IRA and have contacted a few of the online players and am getting a mixed message, some say it's possible some say no way Jose'.  

There are lenders out there that specialize in this type of lending, and you can find them by searching online or hire a commercial finance broker to source your debt.

By tax card I assume you mean tax appraisal and the answer would be the only thing you should really look at is the tax rate, any special assessments, the recorded owner, and if the appraisal is too high and in need of an appeal.  

Me, i would go to and attorney that specializes in real estate and let him handle the paperwork.
