If the attorney recommends a set up that involves more than one LLC, get on the phone with your tax person and find out how much that is going to cost you for the tax returns, K 1 forms, payroll processing, etc...

I know it is much harder to find deals in Fort Collins, but I know people are still investing here and having success. 

And they will be the ones managing it for the long-term, so you want to find a quality PM, not just the one with the cheapest rates or fanciest website.Start by going to www.narpm.org to search their directory of managers.
