They are more likely to know the ins and outs better than a CPA who advises on real estate but hasn't ever invested personally. 

I don't know yet what state I'll be investing in, so there will be outstanding questions.The goals:- grow my little nest egg over the next 20 years (I'm 56 now).

To help in your search:be sure to find an accountant who is willing to grow with you, and is not too high priced fee-wise.

Some people want to grow as much as possible and maximize all the opportunities while others are fine with a few deals.Remember all you know is what you know but Its what you don’t know that makes the biggest the difference. 

And could keep it as a place in the city if you ever wanted to stay there.
