@Sarah Doogle we made poor choices (see the kitchen story).The real issue is that we need a network of trusted tradespeople.Everyone we meet is quoting us $2800 to sand and refinish a 600sqft space.We can pay for a reasonable job at a fair price.

Yes, there are the obvious choices, buy near universities (in Cluj), but the Anual Rent / Purchase Price is closer to 0.5, not 1 and thus the cashflow is at best positive.How did you make the math work?
