I know I budgeted about 75k for a rehab project I did in Berwyn last year, and costs over run happened.

This was a four week project for us.

Hello BP, I'm working on a mostly cosmetic renovation project here in New Orleans  I was wondering if there are any experience contractors or anyone here that could recommend contractors that they've used successfully in the past.

@Craig Hansen sounds like a fun project.2400 SF is a big house to rehab and flip in 60 days.

I think it is quite possible that it would dehumidify a larger area but for the walls, but ofcourse who knows for sure.I have no idea on the install price because we got the house when an aunt died and she had it done way back right after hurricane Irene flooded the whole basement, but there wasn't a choice on pro install because a hole had to be cut into the foundation as there was no window, I have a feeling if a venting spot existed it would be a pretty easy diy project.

So glad you're plugged into the Bigger Pockets podcast - that was a huge source of education for me when I first started.I don't know a lot about the Omaha market, but familiar with reno projects and buy and hold rentals - happy to help with a few of your "million questions" along the way ;) It won't be long and you'll be the one answering questions in the forums!

Like you said, the cost should be another goal to tackle not a disadvantage.  

I am thinking that by the time the contractor gives me the cost for the project the homes will many times already be sold and after a couple times of doing that the contractor will no longer want to go look at houses with me.
