Short of attending a boot camp, I’ve done about as much reading and research as I can on the subject.

Long story short, I had a leak in shower and there was some mold on floor, not terrible imho. $2000 between mold crew and plumbing. 

I am slighty aware of things like capital gains taxes and am worried that since we've had the building for such a short amount of time, it wouldn't be worth it.

If you are having trouble with vacancy you may try keeping some of units furnished for short term corporate rentals.

Or do what I do if I need short term water, just turn the damn valve back on.
