Yes, it is quite a challenge especially in the countries where they are "more relaxed" :))) - like the South of Europe :DHowever, I am just at the point where I am pretty confident in choosing my PM company to make it easy.

We live an hour away and most of our neighbors take the train (metro, subway, etc) into DC and all say they love it because it gives them an hour to sit down and read the paper or relax before work sans kids.

Mind you, I haven't checked it out yet (holiday), but I checked on Zillow, and the last time it sold it was a ridiculously low price, so any mortgage is probably close to free and clear by now.Honesty is my policy also, and I may just go by principle here and hope that he'll be sensible.
