But, it is not against the law to only advertise at a grad school.Anyway, even if you have a huge house you want to rent out, with a bunch of different roommates, (mine were tiny studios), if you can rent to a house full of law students, and I've heard the same is true for med students, you will have minimum problems.Good luck!

In my business I use the 3x rule always and I have low income housing studio apartments and I have nice SFR's that rent for $1500 and I use the 3x rent criteria on all of them.

We rented mainly small studios a little under market, so it was a cheap place to stay and pay off their student loans or save up to buy a house, etc.I also let them sublet their apartments over the summer if they asked, because they often get internships out of the area, sometimes out of the country.

The owner I worked for said in one of his large units in another town (my building mainly just had small studios), the Indian family he had in there got it so humid, that the floor boards expanded and the nails started popping up.
