You can be a business minded person and someone who wants to provide opportunity for others.

At the early stages, the more control you have over your real estate, the better returns thus I recommend investing locally to make your dollar go that much farther and gain a good familarity with real estate before exploring out of state investing.

Anybody know of a GOOD mentor that can help with my overall growth in becoming a real estate investor.

For example:  You don't know in what city the guest resides and are coming from and when you ask them, they are like, it's none of your business. 

I am saying be cautious and do your due diligence concerning any company you do business with.
