Any of you have any luck getting a good return consistently and with any potential for scale inside Washington State?

I am planning my retirement but if I could scale like you, life would be great.

In Chicago as I understand (chip in Chicagoites if I have it wrong) it you can get in trouble for even having the payments in the same account, and can get hit for fairly large damages even just refunding out of the same checking account or not paying an interest payment out of a separate account. 

@Michael Facchini I heard that Fannie and/ or Freddie have a program for large Multifamily loans.

Just completed a large remodel on my primary residence ($90k in) with the goal of refinancing to consolidate some personal debt and pull some additional cash for other real estate related projects, BUT ran into a road block with a lender.

Hope to be able to connect and speak with the large amount of investors here to learn and grow.

The city isn't large, but it is growing...so in theory, it's a matter of a few years or less.Anyway, would you do it given these facts?

I am licensed and Real Estate has been my full-time career for the past two years, my partner recently left her nursing job and is helping me scale the business now that we are planting roots here. 

Have you thought about a large down payment and working with a lender to fund the rest?
