Obviously it depends on specifically what work is still being done, but when Ive done this, it sort of helped the buyers get in the mind set that they are buying a nearly new house that has had lots of work put into it.

As long as reimbursement for the water is clearly shown in the lease along with the clause about how funds received are applied, there should be no problem with an eviction.The only way you might run afoul is if the high water usage was the result of some sort of negligence then you would have to argue that out in front of a judge.

I didn't have a problem with that.But one applicant was a hair dresser, says she have clients who are closer to her home then her salon, or may be wanting a cut after hours would come by to get their hair done, I declined.
