What are some reputable Hard Money Lenders to talk to?

It might even turn into a full time thing depending how good of a salesperson you are and the reputation that your broker has.  

It's an art in itself, and a whole different skill aside from the landlording.....You're LUCKY if you already have a team of trusted contractors.....And I thought I did.....I've used the same reputed local plumber for a bunch for my units.....Long story SHORT, he HAD to finish the job that day but only did HALF of it, still leaking a bit after.....The in-house engineer of the condo building tells me, he can do it for $40 bucks and he has the parts already.....How do I go back to the old contractor, cut him off for his half-done job and handle the payment????....... 

@Carlos Rodrigues, I'm pretty sure it's a violation, but even if it isn't, you will rapidly gain a reputation for crossing a sign - which is a big fat giant NO in the eyes of all real estate agents. 

I put price last because (again, I'm biased) I think that whatever extra you pay a good, highly reputable attorney is going to be worthwhile in the end.

Also if your just starting out you may want to work alongside reputable company to add to the resume.  

I can also see us eventually managing renovations and properties for others, once we've established a strong reputation.  

This is also assuming you have a reputable property management company who handles other buildings like this in the area.

Does this person have a good reputation?

If I do have to sit down with a real estate attorney how do I find a reputable real estate attorney that is willing to work with such a newbie in the investing world?
