It all depends on what you do, how you do it and who you do it with.While some might consider working for a company as a highly qaulified and trained expert as boring, there are just as many others who would think running a commercial real estate brokerage is boring or many that think the idea of landlording as only onerous.

Better might be something that pays the bills but exposes you to RE (construction, office work for a company in the field).At some level assume that a sales job might be great training for life but a real negative for credit.
