LTRs offer steady income with less day-to-day management, potentially appealing in a market with limited options, yet may yield lower returns and pose risks of wear and tear.

There are some real estate attorneys who will even give you a set price up front for the eviction cost so you are aware as to what it will cost.

Rather than writing the loan off, having 20,000+ less to lend and have it take 3 years to put it back yourself via ROTH contribution limits (7k/year), can someone else pay the loan back for the borrower?  

Sounds like there isn't a set formula or calculator for it.
