The latter will typically cost you more, as there are two sets of closing costs and the front side will pass their cost on to you, so you pay twice essentially.

That way, when you do have an issue, you've got a relationship with an attorney who knows your lease intimately and they can jump in and help you.

For starters it can be more difficult to find comps as there are often less multi fam trading than SFR of the same size and count.
