Do any of you have experience in this area that would let me pick their brain over lunch on me?

I let the co-tenants pick the person they  want to screen first in this case since they are living with them. 

Final Note, my area is about 20 minutes from downtown St Louis across the river here in Illinois, investors from STL are picking off properties over here adding further scarcity.Just hoping to spark a discussion that might help me and others - where do you find your good buys?

It is age discrimination, plain and simple.

I called my closing attorney and he said that the taxes "run with the property" and that is no longer my issue and that the closing attorney for the buyer should have picked that up during his search.

Cary, I am no lawyer, but a simple answer is you use a contract that you buy or have created for that very reason.  

Any suggestions, tips, or a simple introduction would be most appreciated!

Who knows- it could be impossible or it might be simple and fairly inexpensive, but you can get a fast and free answer at city hall.

In addition, did it cause issues with refinancing due to the property being lease hold rather than fee simple?
