Have been working with city on whether I can legally add the finished basement as a unit. 

Clearly it has become known as a growing city that is attracting a young, college-grad crowd - but do you think it has peaked?

What I’d do is find a real estate attorney in your city and explain what is that is like to do which is wholesaling. 

To find local banks thought you can go to google and just search the city + bank and start calling.

How do I go about finding out local city regulations for this and evaluate the deal?

Im from Boston so Going to the City assessors office at the city hall building  i thought was going to be a piece of cake.

@David Cruice, looking at some multi family units in New Mexico, do you have a few tips to pass on to a new investor Possibly some Unknown’s that may come up or what are the most critical things to look for, what % does the city ratings/crime statistics have with determining the value of the investment?
