@Candace PriceHaving one property per LLC is likely overkill based on how you are describing it(multiple bank accounts, credit cards, record keeping).If I were in your shoes - I would likely have a different entity per asset class.

This shows us down to the cent where every penny is going, cash on cash returns, current property values, futures, has document storage for leases and receipt you can easily upload to every unit or property.

Were the shoe on the other foot, and I were the contractor, I would have very quickly apologized for the mistake, refunded the money, and returned all the deposit for the second side.

I am hoping that this changes in the near future because my ADU was permitted with an attached 460sf storage which wld be perfect for a JADU. 

There's issues over the shared washer dryer, semi shared storage space, there's dog poop involved, and a missing coat.

Maybe you could rent the basement out as storage to one or two of the other residents.
