William Plymouth,you and I are in the same boat.I have been reading every article and watch 100 YouTube videos on marketing myself as a brand new agent.The competition in Southern California is beyond enormous with 1500 new agents added every month and 400,000 already active agents statewide.It really is a race to get to the potential clients first before 50 other runners get to them first.How do I compete with confident,experienced,veteran agents with potentially a hundred sales or more under their well paid belts?

My ultimate goal is to use real estate as a vehicle for me to quit the rat race and build wealth/financial freedom for myself and my family.

Our cribbers finished the job quickly and were already finished by lunch, as they are racing the weather and trying to get another couple jobs done.

So I have been looking at ways to get out of the rat race ( if you have read the Rich Dad Poor Dad book then you will know exactly what I mean.

I decided to exit the rat race for good and venture into the unknown.

But, perhaps I'm not enough of a hard *** when I negotiate with contractors.For fun I fly, mountain bike, and when time permits - race on road tracks.I started looking for my first house about a year ago.

Remember that RE is not a race, it's a get rich slow scheme.

If I was just getting started and trying to exit the rat race with cash-flow, I would not accomplish this with SF in my market.
