They contact person is saying the property is still for sale.The property has been vandalized while it has been sitting.the contact person is asking $8000 for the property claims it needs $15000 in repairs and is valued at $49, 500.I couldn't find any information on the property under the county assesment.

Buyers here are also pretty skeptical on flips, first thing they will do is go online to county records and see what you paid for it.

I have to still check to see if the county requires window egress standards.

With little to no opportunities here in Dutchess county NY, I was looking at Waterbury CT which is only about 50 min from me.

However, some states have laws regarding when and if you can contact interested parties in the property about the lien, so I would check into your state code and more importantly local County codes regarding tax auctions.Does this answer your questions?
