What I don't like about it is that it feels physically isolated (being tucked in between Mount Olivet Road and New York Avenue) and has less access to public transportation (no metro or trolley).

I have a deal that I’m looking at, in a great location (15-20 minutes north of Boston) and I want to put an offer in but I want to know how much the renovations will cost before I make an offer.

I have yet to know one lender willing to change the Mortgagor from Owner to LLC- I don't have to deal with the tax ramifications as it is around $500 / year for each LLC here in Boston where I live.I would love to get more feedback on this topic.Thanks,

Seattle is always impending innovative forms of transportation which can cause a slight increase in your property.

Not a ground shaker and disappointing to hear for those looking to get from A to B without transportation but that's life. 

I have a full time job, and have owned and managed two three family buildings in East Boston since 2003, and 2005, so I'm not a novice, but by no means seasoned.The deal I'm looking at is a 5 unit residential north of Boston. 

.- The public transportation starts to get crowded.- If the trend continues...... it becomes a viable, maturing neighborhood, as some of the Artists/Musicians/Yuppies begin to have children.

(Boston, MA) Will have to adjust.

Just wanted to add that this kind of GC behavior is common in the Boston area as well.
