If you are looking for a couple thousand dollars per month to supplement your social security and any other retirement savings you have, that is totally doable.  

When people make a lot, they also tend to risk a lot.for the average person, 1 home every year for 10 years is a doable and strategy that can get you there - slow and steady but faster than the average person. 

It sounds like you're off to a good start and I think putting together 2-3 rentals in Colorado by 2026 is certainly doable/attainable.

I personally think the areas south...Kyle, Buda, San Marcos are very desirable areas because they are within commuting distance to both Austin (ok, it's painful, but still doable) AND San Antonio.
