I'm going to dive into the comments this evening, but my first reaction is that I want to see confirmation that refinancing an existing loan (to yourself, no less) bypasses the seasoning restriction. 

Hi @Michael Downs - We could talk about this subject all night.

This is all natural, I presume, for anyone taking their first dive into the business. 

It was a 4-night stay totaling over $700.We thought the complaints were a little over the top and were curious as to why we didn’t hear anything during their stay.  

Do they need worry about responding to an an emergency at night?  

Avg rentals get 180 to 220 nights per year.

We both work full time so my schedule was a little more open since I travel and then work from home so my time was going to be nights and weekends. 

That said, unless you're sitting on loads of cash or you're happy living on a shoestring budget for the next 10+ years, I have two recommendations on how to get to FI in 5-10 years:1) Dive in.

Worst case scenario I will do the same with this one, but I want to use this deal as the first real deal to dive into real estate investing, so maybe to keep this one as a rental.
