However, the posts I read that are the most encouraging are the ones where someone has success with a property and it motivates others. 

How determined are you to bridge the gap between your actual abilities and success -- because there is most likely a bridge that exists between what you think is going to happen and reality. 

I’m not usually the one to post on here about our success, I usually leave that to my business partner @Michael Beeman.

I certainly don't mind showing homes to folks who are not from the area and giving them a good idea of "where" they will have better success in the rental game.  

I have been reading so much information on how to become a landlord for my properties and how to run them as a successful business.

My goal is to contribute at least once per day to a forum and have quickly found success in that; I have gotten direct messages from fellow BP members who have found commonality from the few forums I have contributed to, so my network is already growing!

I wanted to follow up on this post in hopes that I can help my fellow newbies in the area.In search for answers to this "magic formula" to get leads, I have come across some very successful people in this industry and have heard different insights on what works and what doesn't. 

I am interested in hearing success stories on growing a fix and flip business.  

I work on Wall Street, commute 3 hours a day and still have managed to grow a successful (and frankly exploding in growth) student rental property management business at Rutgers University on the side.
