Much less commonly used.Most Personal policies (Homeowners & Dwelling Fire) from the companies providing the best rate (on a per $1000 of coverage basis) will be written on Replacement Cost.

Those rules include having to use a disclaimer that is a bit like the surgeon generals warning on cigarettes - and if you follow the rules and include the warning, most have found that they get almost zero response.

There is ZERO upside to paying utilities at a SFR.... if its free to the tenant there is ZERO incentive for them to keep their use reasonable....If I didn't have to pay my utilities you can be damn sure I would have my AC on 70 degrees on ALL summer and the heat at 82 ALL winter
