My gf just bought a brand new 4 bedroom townhome and got a 5.375% interest rate with no points and $5K towards closing costs. 

I am under writing a small 2 tenant brand new building that the franchise i am would be one tenant and the other one ideally a restaurant but not signed yet. 

If the cabin is brand new, figure 5 percent of annual rents for repairs and maintenance.

Other ideas I've seen include taking white label products and putting your STR branding on them to sell.
