The other big issue about being an "investor-friendly" agent is that investors expect the agent to chase their tail by driving around looking at every potential home the investor sees on Zillow and then make a bajillion low-ball offers for them "just to see if they stick".

I am curious if there is anyone with experience in owning real estate in another country being a US working citizen and have some tips on how taxes operate if I were to list that property on Airbnb in a foreign country and so on (any other tips you can offer towards this)...

Does anyone have a good resource for some sort of turnaround plan or success plan they have put together as essentially a business plan for a multifamily property?

I have a particular interest in islands, as my long-term goal is to captain a catamaran and offer tours for snorkeling, sunset cruises, etc.I'm interested in places that offer great ROI without being overly expensive.

With proper property management, it's not an issue being out of state.You can work with a turnkey company or directly with builders that offer the same services for your first property.

And perhaps in that case, I am thinking to offer them cash for keys to vacate the property (After the property is vacated and condition of the property is verified) rather than hoping that this will get any better. 

. $300 was more than I would have offered.
