We've always had a pool since moving to TX 17 years ago.I don't understand why people have so much trouble with chemicals, I check ours about once a week and normally don't have to do anything chemical wise except shock one a week and keep tablets in the auto-chlorinator.Sounds like your biggest issue is chemicals, find a neighbor with a pool, one that takes care of their own pool and see if he/she can show you how to keep up with the chemicals.

They were totally fine with that and said we have agents that only do 1 deal a year so not a problem.Then i told him i am now an affiliate with 2 investors in so cal and i will be working up here working on gathering information on shortsales properties by talking to agents with the listings, getting what the investors need information wise.

Personality-wise, I think they're fine.The few small claims cases do make me nervous, but... good point about being more worried about personality (and injury, ha.. yikes) than small debt from 10 years ago.

you will need to qualify for the house under both payments, assuming you have no other rental properties over 2 years.I did this & it worked out wonderfully. house sat vacant for 2 days, tripled the amount of space in our new home, and 6 months later a comp identical to ours appraised for $20k more.everybody on BP said not to do it. that it won't be a profitable rental cash flow wise. but it has definitely been profitable from a net worth standpoint.so far, so good (fingers crossed)!

Newlife I would not worry about it...When shopping for a mortgage you have 2 weeks (last time I was told in a meeting with Fair Credco) where it will only count as one inquiry (credit score wise) even if you have multiple pulls and really one month where it would not effect your credit.

It is also wise to have a disclosure signed by the seller which states that they understand that the loan is remaining in their name.
