When discussing real estate investing practices, the idea of active versus passive investing is often one that is the root of many heated debates amongst investors.

All too often, I see people debating this question because what they really want to do is spend the money on themselves and inflate their lifestyle, which is a sucker's choice in the beginning of any investment plan.As to which of the two choices are best -- I think that depends on your business plan.
