I managed to sell 4 of them near the peak (I just missed it with the last one).In the meantime, I dabbled in various RE markets and non RE investments.

As I had mentioned before that the Commodity cycle peaks every 30 years.

However, if you look at the overall Bakersfield market, you can see that we are approximately 25% below our previous peak, and with oil, ag, and water hurting right now we have not really appreciated like other parts of CA.  

I then had a hernia surgery, an unusually busy summer of work and investing, and a great summer of outdoors adventures including summiting Mt Rainier, Adams, St Helens, Glacier Peak and many other peaks.  

First unfortunately it points to a market peak.

However, we bought near the real estate peak and with the past downturn in the market, it’s considerably underwater (owe $188k; worth maybe $140k).

And with being at Peak note, with the very best selling for outrageious prices, like $0.75 of UPB with paying first & full equity from several funds, PPR included, it might be worth it for the market to change direction.

I currently live in the north Denver suburbs (Superior), and have been really impressed with how much appreciation I've had in the last 2.5 years since I bought, particularly since I thought I was buying at a peak.

We had been hearing muffled bangs for about a week before they got so loud that we decided to take a peak up in the attic.
