Jeremy, I don't believe Texas requires you to do the final inspection with the tenant present but you should verify that.

“Uncovering” is not a big deal....when they’re inspecting a septic, they easily find it, open it up, pump it out and check flow.

What are the various inspections commonly done for a house built in 1958, apart from the general inspection? 

We recently received a letter from the NJ Bureau of Housing Inspection about registering the property under the Multiple Dwellings Law (NJSA 55:13:1A-1).It appears this law only pertains to 3+ Unit multi family properties, which begs the question why we received it in the first place.

Still need to do all inspections / normal DD.

Let the tenant know that if the property goes under contract before their move-out date, you'll offer them an incentive (maybe $250), to be paid out only after they've vacated the premises, delivered the keys, and submitted the Move-Out Inspection Form.

I know the steps, like making sure I get the agent to add certain contingency to cover myself, add an inspection period, making sure it goes through my preferred wholesaling friendly closing company, etc.

Ive got a 30 day inspection period.
