If another tenant months or years from now was ticked at me and decided to file a lawsuit and some lawyer was able to track my records to determine that I made an exception for another tenant and didn't offer them the same courtesy, I could get into a lot of hot water.What do you think?

Alternatively, this may just be a way for them to cover their own tails - lawyers tend to be very conservative about these kinds of things.
