Im a beginner on long island ny, i was looking to hear back from other new york real estate investors to find out if the long island market is a good market to wholesale in, ive been looking into some potential leads online but i would like to hear back from established investors whether or not its the right market for wholesaling.

The owner also shared that this is an "illegal" duplex but has never had an issue with the city, even when enforcing an eviction.Thanks for any advice on this one!

I know school districts are a big indicator and have also read about looking at the city planning website for future developments...but not sure what to look for specifically.
